Is it okay to brag?  My neighborhood is really great. It's full of friends like a mini community inside a bigger one.  We all get together for dinners and parties and send offs and "help-outs" we trade and barter give rides and swap stuff.  I guess  the people in the neighborhood that don't join in are just tooo self-centered.  Their loss?  or is it everyone's loss?

Delete is a nice thing.

     NO REALLY I don't really think it's all about cars,  Sorry for that energy.

On the other hand.. there's this war thing going on all over the world.... at least it seem's
 that way.

People all over the planet celebrating.... something... some ritual....
some right of passage... moment in time...

FOOD. WATER. SHELTER. LOVE.

Got a chance to spend some time with my family during thanksgiving it was really nice to have them at my home.  BEFORE TOO MANY MORE SUBDIVISIONS AND........Land Values rise to the point where... My property taxes.. open space..  Good ole' Moab  WOOSH!!! Gone.               I can't blame people for wanting to live here that would make me some-kind of completely self-centered, selfish  ***expletive-deleted***  Republican? Media-Addict? Land Developer? Consumer.  YEA.... thats it... consumer????

   I KEITH G. AM AN AMERICAN CONSERVER AND AND...... I'M MAD AS HELL....   AND AND AND..... I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY MORE SO.. THERE. !!!!  PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Short Story.

About some of my experiences,
     In 1990  I decided to move to Moab Utah and chase after my DREAM at the time "to become a Famous Artist or at least a Photographer.  At any given time in the previous decades of my life I would have laughed my ass off at the mention of such a move. 

Now Moab of 1990 and Moab of 2008... Two completely different  towns...  Two completely different "Quality of Life" experiences. You know what?   this story goes down hill from here and i don't feel like telling it right now because it's bringing me down...

The lesson?  We are told be Grateful for what you have...  Boy am i glad i live in Moab!!             it's all about Attitude.....
Time changes everything....   Nothing is static.

Well I made it thru Thanksgiving and Bracing for the "Christmas" to come,  We all need to refocus on the real meanings and embrace the real "Spirit" of the season.

Here it is another holiday, Thanksgiving.
Why do we as a people wait for the one day to give thanks? Maybe we feel guilty for all the good stuff we have.  Maybe we take this american life for granted?  Maybe we just don't take the time to look for the things to be thankfull for?  I don't know...  Here's a list of things i'm thankfull for.

My parents for all the love they continually give, not to mention all the times they helped me out of a bind.

My friends, I'm lucky to have some really loving friends.

HI.   Yes its my birthday, No you don't need to send me anything, Well....There is one thing you could do for me. Turn the lights off inside and outside of your home tonight between 8:00 and 9:00 and then think of the amount of carbon and other stuff I won't have to breath while riding my bicycle to work, or you could ride your bicycle to work one day or just some place close you would normaly take your car, if you don't have a bike........ Look I know it's alot to ask but you could walk. THANKS for your gift.

I try to keep this thing as positive as possible but once in a while I Will vent.  about the stuff that just irks the daylights out of me.  Then weeks later I'll delete that entry. Well..... Fall or autum came on like a tiger with a snow storm in the La Sal mountains and really cold temps for the equinox.  One last month of craziness then the tourist season will be over the colors are beautiful and nature is getting ready for a long winter nap. All is well and i have the opertunity to work through the winter (a blessing for moabite's)

My friend miso turned me on to this site much nicer than the corporate controled social sites i've had fun with, everyone seems to be very "real" as compaired to myspace or friendster.
